There Are Some Pretty Effective Cold Sore Treatments on the Market
I am just not willing to spend a ton of money to cure a cold sore, when there are some pretty effective cold sore treatment s on the market now days. One of them is probably in your medicine cabinet right now. I am referring to rubbing alcohol. Some people might say it is bad to use rubbing alcohol on your skin, especially on your lips. But all a cold sore is basically is a fluid filled bubble. So, with rubbing alcohol being able to dry out the fluid, it makes sense to use it.
I am not saying rub it all over your face, I am saying put some on a Qtip or cottonball and dab it on the cold sore to dry it out from the inside out. Beleive me, I have used it for years and it does work wonders. And I have never had an adverse reaction from it.
